Tricia and Joannie met through mutual friends in San Diego and remained as acquaintances for a few years, until the day Tricia’s smile caught Joannie’s eye in a different way and Tricia couldn’t be more impressed by Joannie’s dance moves!
As their relationship grew closer for almost a decade, they desired to experience a life together and share a home with their dog, Luna.

FAQ
- RSVP ASAP. This will help with the planning process for our wedding.
- Dress Code: Dressy Casual Attire. We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. Dress for summertime time in California. We suggest the following: Women: Cocktail dress, Sun dress, lightweight separates with flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the grass. Men: light dress shirt and slacks. No jeans and running shoes.
- Ceremony will be held in the park with grass. You will walk to and from a cemented sloped pathway.
- The Reception is located within a 5 minute walk of the Ceremony.
- Parking: There is 2 hour parking and free parking around Cuvier Park and the La Jolla Women's Club. Parking is free parking after 6pm. We strongly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the Ceremony.
- Inn at the Sea, La Jolla is one block away from the venue(s) and is walkable to and from the village of La Jolla. Please book your hotel room ASAP, as the Special Wedding Rate is based on availability, and shall expire 45 days before the wedding date. If you book too late, they cannot guarantee the room rate or a room for you.
- We recommend applying sunscreen, as the Ceremony and Reception will be held outdoors.
- This is an adult-only event, and we kindly request no children under the age of 18, unless you are immediate family. We will provide access to babysitters during the ceremony and reception for those who need it.
